Christmas Vacation Adventure - Bali Journey here i come

How MASSIVE is this dog - he always hangs on Hall St right by my house...he is 5 and doesnt seem to like the attention he gets from his size...

I am going to bali!!!
I fly into Despasar on Friday the 19th. Staying in Senur.
Ill spend a day here to chill-lax, walk around, layout at the beach...

Sunday – driver is coming at 10am to take me on a mini tour on the way to the retreat. I am visiting Pura Masceti Temple and Semarpura village. By 2:00 I will be at a Spa, Yoga, Meditation retreat in Ubud.
Retreat is Sunday to Friday the 26th.

Planning on seeing the medicine man in Eat Love Pray - the book that help me take this journey.

Friday after the retreat I have another driver taking me 20 minutes north to Taro to ride an elephant, think I will stay in Ubud one more night. http://www.balielephantpark.com/photo_gallery.htm

Saturday I have another driver to take me on a tour – looking at going to Pura Tamri, Jatiluwhi, Pura Tanah Lot and ending in the early evening in Seminyak. I will shop, relax and maybe surf on Sunday and Monday. I head back to Sydney Monday night to spend New Years with my friends...cant wait to see the firework show I have heard so much about.

All I can say is bring this on!! I need to get away - I need a break. I will miss home and def miss the holiday feel...it doesnt feel christmasy.

Bondi Beach New Casa Housewarming

I picked up my scooter earlier in the day - oh yea I havent updated anything on there about this...I went for a morning swim in the Icebergs Pool right on the beach last Tuesday- amazing but freeeezing...on the walk back saw this little scooter for sale.

Talked the guy down to $1k, a few little things wrong but it should give me some mobility. I had to drive from Watson Bay- which is pretty far, it was scary. I have to figure out licensing and a few things..so cute huh...i love the stars :)









My party was tame - played some sequence then headed to a massive beattle cover band party. Was fun - i behaved for a change...

And as most everyone that knows me already knows this story. But the initial month here was horrible with the bugs. I had up to 46 roaches in the first 3 weeks...most on my deck. I professionally bombed, bombed 2 times my self, sprayed Tabasco sauce everywhere, covered my drains, parents sent me some electrical things from homedepot, taped every entry point including my slider...been roach free for 1.5 weeks now. It was horrible at first - as in I am moving home. look how MASSIVE they are. imagine getting up from your couch and almost stepping on this thing...i had one with me in the shower. Like horrible experiences...for me "the one who hates bugs"!! My co worker was getting me in touch with a hypno therapist cause i was freaked. All good now! :)

Holiday Season 2008

Amnesia Christmas Party - Bronte Beach again this year. Weather was ok - day before and after was like 30...but only like 22. Still warm enough for a swim...played some volleyball, footie, ultimate Frisbee.

Not well planned out - receptionist catered for 50 when we have 80 peeps and partners were invited...makes no sense. Booze ran out hour and half before end. Um no comment.

Party bus to Bondi - I talked a small crew into coming to mine in order to move the couch that came with the place into the garage. THANKS guys! I thanked them with a few bottles of wine, Kai walked over with more wine...and tequila. Never a good idea on a school night.

Off to the Beach Rd to see if amnesia peeps were still out at midnight - played some Big Buck Hunter of course...

Drive/Jodie took us to a holiday dinner - Sunday night at Bronte Beach side...very good.

Client sailing day...work had been completely manic prior to christmas break. It was hard and stressful to break away...especially given it is cold and rainy. is this Seattle or Sydney??

I almost lost a toe - as I slipped done into the inside..it was slippery mixed with tipsy...never good

Fun day - ended with a crazy night. Karaoke over dinner with the clients...onto Double Bay..the Sheaf. Where we were the oldest people, i felt like I was talking advantage of little boys on the dance floor...

Classic: next day - Jen didnt remember having a full sit down dinner, where she ate like 2 dozen oysters...love your work.

So many good girls talks - lots of wine and champagne..ditched dinner with all the finger foods and relaxation. Girls headed out in the cross for dancing, I was good and was home early. had a early morning appointment.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING feast

Up at 7am for a fun morning of cooking! I made my first pumpkin pie!! Also dads baked beans, nannies dumplings and yummy spinach dip! Most of rich required special ingredients from the US...and they didnt know what Pie Crust was so I had to make it from some dough stuff. interesting day with the help my mom and dad of course.

Rainy morning worried us as the dinner was on a roof top in manly...over lookin the beach. AMAZING.





Adrian sorted out the cutting of the turkey - nice one Becky and Vanessa...they pulled if off. many test chickens to help the day go smoothly
