Alice Springs and Uluru - The Red Center

we made it! another fun trip ahead - we are stoked!

"river bed" in alice springs, dont know what I was thinking but i assumed a little more here...like a tacoma buts its more of a yakima

after our hotel people gave us the keys to someone elses place and there was some confusion...we walked into town (after some cheese and champers of course)



























the saloon was cool! you can actual have family order u beers online, good for all the backpackers.



















this is pepperoni pizza?! looks like sausage and cost an arm and a leg...not impressed with the food :(











when we ask the guys at our "four star" hotel about a spa he looked at us like we asked him how to buy crack...and actually that question would have prob been easier for him to answer...



took a walk up to get a view of the town















watch a sad chick flick, nice dinner and back to sleep...we had to get up like 5am..not happy about that situation!














Hike up to King Canyon - after a COLD 4 hour drive and a lunch stop (pics out of order)

tired, cold, hungry and they want us to hunt for wood...and look those who know me I am the first to get dirty, find wood and start a fire...I am paying for this trip, just didnt expect some of these things.

I sprang my ankle hiking kings canyon the day before, and the aborignal really dont like people climbing the rock, it is sacrid...u have the option to climb of walk around...



saw some cool cave writings, 70k years old
































































crackers, and gross water to fill the aching tummy. did i saw the food SUCKED

and a live dingo - we went to the culture center before getting dropped at the airport to fly back from Uluru. the tour continued on...we had enough.
